This is Etta

You can call me Etta. Writing was my first lover. Keeping journals is what got me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I am a wife to an amazing man and a mama of two boys ( M & J). M is the oldest and J is the youngest. Both my boys have been my greatest teachers. I currently am a stay at home mama and I am enjoying every moment. One of the most important things I have realized is, time is not your friend. Live in each moment and savor it. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I intend to fill this blog with my experiences and I hope my words bring them to life for you. Sometimes I will review stuff, sometimes I will write about what’s on my mind, and sometimes I will remind you how beautiful your soul is!

I hope you enjoy yourself and enjoy this ride called life with me and my family!

Things you may not know:

I live in the Evergreen State.

I am 20 something.

I am adopted.

M has autism and our journey has been scary, exciting, excruciating, and beautiful.

I would prefer to be outside, barefoot.

  1. OMG!!! So beauty is not the only thing we have in common. I just read your bio. My gorgeously cheeky son is Autistic also. I am just writing a new blog about that now. Looks like you have a new follower. I like what I see so far! XOXO

    • That is amazing! I mean, well, it’s awesome that we have that in common!! Kindred spirits :D. Who am I kidding?! Our son’s our amazingly awesome!! Thanks so much for the follow. How old is your son if you don’t mind me asking?

      • Kindred spirits indeed. I am looking forward to us building on this. Yes, you have a new blog friend lol. Stalker is too harsh a word lol. Pleasure to follow. No thanks needed at all. My munchkin is 10 years old. I will save the going on 20 as he is cheeky and then some. Amazing does not even fully describe the wonderfulness that is our Boys. Any questions please ask away. Don’t mind at all. My email is (personal)! xoxo

      • Me too!! Yes, I didn’t want to say I was stalking you on Instagram. πŸ™‚ So “blog friends” will suffice for now. My son believes this is his world and we are all his visitors. He is a such a sweet spirit though. I sent you an e-mail πŸ™‚

  2. I have a brother who is also autistic. It was a struggle to deal with it when I was young and I didn’t understand anything that time. But now, it’s still a struggle but I love my brother no less and I constantly spoil him whenever I can. Thanks Miss Etta, you’re a wonderful person and possesses an admirable positive attitude! πŸ˜€ kisses from roro
